وفي كلمتها المكتوبة عبرت السفارة عن خالص العزاء وصادق المواساة بوفاة البابا مشيدة بالدور الروحي والانساني الذي اضطلع به طوال حياته في تعزيز قيم السلام والتسامح، ودعم الحوار بين الديانات وثقافات الأمم المختلفة..

وأكدت على أن رحيله يمثل خسارة للمجتمع الدولي والقوى الداعمة للسلام والتسامح والتعايش بين شعوب العالم على اختلاف أديانها ومللها ، وقومياتها وأجناسها …
